Hwange National Park is one of Zimbabwe’s greatest treasures, and if you are looking for a unique safari experience in 2016, this impressive game reserve, just a short hop from Victoria Falls Airport, should be right up there at the top of your Safari Bucket List.
The largest national park in Zimbabwe, Hwange boasts a tremendous selection of wildlife and birdlife, and during your safari adventure, there is every chance that you will spot a whole host of weird and wonderful animals that you simply wouldn’t see anywhere else in the world (well, not in the wild, anyway!).
During our safari in Hwange National Park, we were lucky enough to stay in two luxurious Wilderness Safari Properties, Davidsons Camp and Little Makalolo. Both camps have something unique to offer the traveller, and with their remote location, you cannot help but to feel at one with nature.
Getting to the camps is somewhat of an adventure in itself, but the light aircraft transfers take just one hour from Victoria Falls, so you arrive in paradise just in time for lunch, which is always a scrumptious affair at Wilderness Camps! Here’s a few images from our recent safari in Zimbabwe…
